(born in 10th of December 1959 in Skierniewice) – Police general (retired chief superintendent), from 2007 till 2011 Deputy Interior and Administration Minister, from 2001 till 2012 Deputy Interior Minister).
The head in the Unit for Seizing Property in the Department for Economic Crimes, co-author and the Director of the Department for Combating Organised Crimes and the Department for Combating Drug-related Crimes in the Polish National Police Headquarters.
Since December 2000 till October 2003 has managed the entire criminal Police in Poland and supervised it, acting as deputy commander in chief of the Polish Police. On those days there has been a significant improvement of effectiveness in the field of combating organized crime and hundreds of organized criminal structures have been broken down. Between 2004 – 2006 the I advisor in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vilnius and the Police liaison officer in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
In 2006 returned to Poland and held the position of the provincial Police commander in małopolska province. In 2006 retired and has been conducting business activity concerning safety and security aspects.
In 2007 he took up a position of the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and then, after organisational changes — Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior. He was responsible for the security and public order within the country, having direct oversight of the Police, Border Guard and The Government Protection Bureau.

Has got security clearance certificates issued for handling of national, EU and NATO classified information. Author of articles concerning the problems of economic, drug-related and organized crime.
